KISS the ICT

In autumn 2009 Illuka school hosted our Comenius partners form Spain,Italy,Turkey,Germany and Finland. Most guests arrived on Oct 13th except the Turkish team who arrived on 12th. Our pupils and teachers net them at Tallinn airport. Meanwhile we did sightseeing in Tallinn Old Town. The weather was terrible- a nice storm just started and it was freezing cold. Late in the evening we started the trip to Illuka where the Pannjärve Sport Centre was waiting for our exhausted guests.

Oct 14th
Our guests spent the day in Illuka school where a welcome concert from pupils was given, later there was a guide tour around the school buildings and territory. Then the first project meeting in the conference house took place where each team introduced their country and school.
After lunch the teachers had a meeting in the Illuka local authority while the pupils spent their time playing ice-breaking games.
Then we all together visited the Kuremäe Russian orthodox nonnery. After that the teacher went back to school for a project meeting. The pupils spent their time at Kurtna Youth Centre. Later we picked them up and then went back to Pannjärve for dinner and spending free time together.
